Your assignment is to write a research paper about a mathematician of your choice. When writing this you should including the following elements:

Biographical information about the mathematician
The field of mathematics he/she is known for working in. Include what this field means, who else works in this field, and with what other fields it intersects (if any.)
The mathematician’s major contribution to the field. Try to explain this using as little jargon as possible and lots of examples.
The implication of this major contribution on other fields and on society.

The following items will be due at various points during the project:

A brief proposal, identifying the mathematician and why you hope to write about him/her.
An outline of the topics that will be discussed in the paper. The list of topics above might serve as a guide in this step.
A rough draft, to be examined in class before the final review.
A final version of the paper.

The paper should fit the following guidelines;

5+ pages, 10pt font
At least 5 references, none of them from wikipedia
Typed, printed, on time

Physics Quiz Measurement

- Temperature Conversions
- Single (eg: m, Pa) and multi-dimensional conversions (eg: speed, density)
