Notebook Grading Scheme Reminder
November 13, 2007 · Comments Off
In preparation for midterm grades, all sciences classes are having notebook checks. Here is a reminder of the criteria I use to grade them:
3 points → Fulfilling the basic notebook guidelines. IE: it is in a notebook separate from your other subjects; if it is spiral bound, then all of the pages are numbered; it only contains information for this class and not for others.
3 points → Fulfilling the basic notebook structure. IE: it has an organized and complete table of contents; the title page is easy to find and complete with class and contact information.
6 points → All relevant notes are complete and up to date.
3 points → The notebook is organized, neat, and tidy.
3 bonus points → The student has put a special effort into the presentation of the notebook.
