- Thank you for a great start to the year! I’ve been having an exciting time working with you, learning your names, and discussing basic topics in math and science.
- The pretests have been taken and handed back to students. Performance on this quiz should be taken as an indication for future quizzes. Translation: if you were unsatisfied with this grade, you had better start studying for the next one!
- Keep up with the homework given in class and do any notebook assignments as they are announced.
- Many students have asked if it is appropriate copy the notes into their notebooks ahead of time. If they are posted on this website, please do! I will check them when they are due in class.
- This is a list of excuses I have been given for not doing various homeworks before the start of class. They are unacceptable, so please do not attempt to get credit if you plan to use one of them.
* “My computer is not working.”
* “My printer is broken.”
* “I missed class.” (without a pink slip)
* “I forgot.”
* “I got started too late.”
* “I didn’t know we were supposed to put it in our notebooks!”
* “But I got it done by the end of class!”
Thank you! – Ms. McKenney
